The Love You Gave Me

The Love You Gave Me
By Kao Yang

You
Are the only people
Who works day and night
To nourish your family

Whether the weather is any
From icy to hot
You don’t care which weather is not
Who works twelve hours
And all we can do is give you flowers.

“You
Are worth more than everything,
You
Are one of a kind
Although I am old to blind”

My father feared
When he sees the frown on the son’s face
And tried to ask for forgiven.

You are the only people
Who work days and night
To nourish your family
And you are my parents.
