Antonina Zabinski was a Russian-born girl that lost her parents to the Bolsheviks. She managed to open the Warsaw Zoo with her husband, Jan Zabinski. Later in 1939 of September 1st, the Warsaw Zoo was bombed by Nazis. Years and years on, the Holocaust was happening. Antonina managed to save about 300 Jews during the Holocaust.
