Walk

Walk

by: KaoZong Xiong

She left me,
he left me,
they, left me.
Everybody started whispering.
Everybody started pointing.
I lost…
everyone.

But I kept walking forward.
Walking…
walking…
walking…
not wanting to face back, knowing that it’s right behind me,
following me,
everywhere.

Hell?
It wasn’t as bad as they said it was.
It actually became my best friend.
Everyday,
I’ll go through the same stuff.
Whether it’s walking into piles of lavas,
or walking pass Satin.

But I still look forward,
still held my head high
and I still walked.
I walked through the land of deads,
walked through the queen of hearts’ palace,
walked pass a little angel.
yes,
“Even angels have their wicked schemes.”

But I learned a lot from living in that dark place,
“As long as you continue walking forward,
you will start to see that glimpse of light,
running towards you…
flawlessly.”
