We Can’t Relate

Born and Raised in Camden, but I was not

“They used to got them one cent candies”
She said that in the voice that she used to talk in,
but they died with their old age, as she did not

She was born and raised in Camden

I was not, we can’t relate

She grew up in tough times

I did not, we can’t relate

He parents striped her from her house in Italy,
Just to take her to a home two years later

None of this happened to me, we can’t relate

But if I can still enjoy the opportunity,
the opportunity to hear her positive words about that time,

We can Relate
