that is risen in me.

of my words.

Poetry is the tingly feeling

I get when I laugh.

Poetry is the jingle bells

from Santa Claus’s sleigh.

Poetry is the chirps

from the birds.

Poetry is the music

to my ears.

Poetry is the greathearted beast

that set you free.

Poetry is the rhythm

to the beat.
