When I heard you were coming

When I heard you were coming,

I was glad,

But when my  mom called me

I could hear the tears of her eyes and the “oh no” from

Her mouth

Said my baby sister never made it

But if she did I would hold her in my arms

And say a layby to say goodnight

With a kiss on her check

Say that she’ll be alright when she’s by my side

So I’ll let  you god take her under your wings

And let her see the mistakes could reflect on her too

Though she didn’t make it

I’ll never forget the time we let  you go

But to a good place I know
