Where  are  you ?

Silence,peace,and quiet in a room

Pink curtains on the windows, green carpet floor

One bed one girl

There I laid thinking why ?

Feeling alone one father who also is a mother .

Radio tuned in, tiers falling down a 10 year olds face

Plain white walls surround the sorrow in her heart

Goes every day in to the same place

Never goes out

Goes to school with two sisters by her side

Sees friends getting dropped of by their mothers

Hearing them complain about the mother that they have

Thinking about how  ungrateful they where

A mother missing …….where could she be ?

A girl in a room with nothing but thoughts

A room with orange walls and a bunk bed 16 now

Lost mother was found , stepmother adopted

Life was changed

And now a

Smile

Rests in that same girls face
