Where My Family Is

Where My Family Is

By Jailyn McCauley

The graveyard is where my family is

I go there for anniversaries,

its all the same.

There is family that are deceased

I’ve never seen,

I will not be the same.

I’ve heard stories about a graveyard,

but they’re not true.

It may seem real gloomy,

but you have to see

my family is the only thing

that matters to me.

The graveyard is where my family is,

the memories sometimes hurt,

but when I’m again

next to them

I’ll be hurting no longer.
