Beautiful Summer Day

It was a beautiful summer day

The sun was as beautiful as a flower

The palm trees were like a tower

In this sunny weather I like to play

I hear birds singing a happy tune

The slopey green grassy hill

The river is calm and still

In this warm sunny afternoon

I see flowers blossoming in this month of May

Kids with smiles and filled with joy

Laughter flowed through every girl and boy

Oh how I love this beautiful summer day
