True Beauty and Confidence

True Beauty and Confidence
by Chaz-Lynn Nakamura

Be confident. Learning to love yourself.
Beauty. Beauty shall not be seen through the eyes but the heart.
A beautiful face can destroy an ugly heart.
Beauty doesn’t matter about your outer appearance.
A kind and giving heart is the true meaning of beauty.

Beauty. Beauty shall not be measured on your weight or height.                                                                      You’re a masterpiece that God created.                                                                                                                           He doesn’t want you to starve yourself, to harm yourself.                                                                                       Just for the title of being “slim.”                                                                                                                                 That’s what society wants. But is that what you want?

Beauty. Beauty is staying true to yourself, standing up for yourself and others. Believing in what’s right. Being able to not pretend like someone you’re not.                                                                                                   Not letting what other people think of you effect you, your self-esteem, your respect for yourself.

Beauty. Beauty isn’t the amount of heart eye emojis you got on your last selfie.                                                  Or the number of compliments you got on your new top.                                                                                        It’s about loving yourself. Not in a conceited way. But in a way that you can learn to love others as well.

You’re beautiful, don’t let your hurt, insecurities, imperfections into your mind and destroy your true being. That’s what makes you you.
Just the way you are. Confidence. Confidence is key.
